About Kendra Jackson-Ralph

Welcome!

Today you are one step closer to a better you where you feel empowered and on a positive path to growth and well-being.

My goal is to help you discover the root of the problem and create strategies with you to either terminate, minimize, or handle life challenges better than you are doing now. This traveled road may not be smooth in the beginning as we walk it together; however, where this path leads you to may be exciting, peaceful, and rewarding. There is always a new day for a better way.

If you’re seeking a healthier path to walk and you need the tools, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.

Kendra Jackson-Ralph is a licensed professional counselor in DC, MD, and VA.

Before becoming a clinician, Kendra was a paramedic for 10 years followed by a few years in law enforcement. Kendra decided to continue her public service by furthering her education into the mental health field.

Kendra’s passion to help others continued throughout the years as she began advocating against domestic violence in relationships. She recently worked with the military community in California and was a guest speaker on KNTC 88.3 (The Heat) to educate on the subject matter to later becoming a national domestic violence intervention specialist

After a minor injury, Kendra decided to take a collaborative and alternative approach to healing her injury by researching methods used in different cultures and regions in the world to heal without the use of pharmaceutical assistance.

Realizing the power of the mind to heal the entire body as a unit, she later became a national board certified clinical hypnotherapist and a certified mental health integrative provider.

“The experience of learning how the body heals with the power of the mind is truly remarkable.”

Through the use of meditation, yoga, nutrition, aromas, colors, music and much more, the  mind, body and spirit can prepare itself to recovery.

Kendra believes, “Together both alternative and traditional therapy using CBT, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focus, and Person-Centered is the beginning to a new you, a healthier you, and a lasting you.”
